Something happened to me, not too long ago
It came inside and it made me whole
I wanna take some time and tell you what it's all about.
It started when I walked through those Pentecostal church-house
Doors, thought I'd sit in the back,
It wouldn't bother me no more but I was
Wrong, it was real, even though I had my doubts.
I said I'll sit in my seat and I'll leave after a while,
But before I knew it I walked right up that isle,
Then something happened that's just kinda hard to explain.
With my voice lifted high and my hands to the sky,
I started praising the Lord with everything inside,
Then somebody said you need to go down in Jesus name.
So they took me to the place, where my sins washed away,
And I'm telling ya now,
I can swear I could hear all the Angels

Everything inside, then somebody said "
You need to go down in Jesus name".
So they took me to the place where my sins washed away,
And I'm telling ya now,
When that preacher prayed,
I declare I could hear all the Angels sing.
When I came up out of the water, I thought that was the most,
But then I was filled with the precious Holy Ghost,
I don't really know how, but I'm glad somehow I've been changed.
I've been changed, I'm not what I used to be,
I've been rearranged, it was the blood that set me free.
The spirit came and lifted me up higher,
And He filled me with that Holy Ghost fire.
Now I'm a new creation since I took his name,
I'll never be bound again since He broke those chains.
I don't really know how, but I'm glad somehow I've been changed.
I am set free and I know that I am,
I've been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, I've been washed white,
Whiter than snow, through the precious blood of Calvary's glow,
I have been changed,
Made over and new, believe it or not, you can be too.
And if you are bound, He'll bring you out,
Then you can stand right up and shout,
I am set free and I know that I am,
