I think some people mistook it for sour grapes
And I would go, "Did you listen to the words?"
It's the polar opposite of that
You know, it's being gracious about it, you know?
And I think that's, if I've done anything well, uh, is-
I've, I've been good about being gracious about whatever, whatever stretch I'm in
You know, I wasn't bitter when I, when I was struggling to come up
And I, I surely was it, over the top, arrogant and cocky when my
When everything was in full bloom and then if it's going the other way
It's all the same people, you know
And just, press on, you know, it's all, it's all okay, you know
Now obviously moments of, of gnashing of teeth and
And I think the real mind-bender is, is
Like, I've said a lot at this, this point, making a new record, nearly 60, I
I'm better than I've ever been
And that's the mind-bender
That now you think you'd be the most compelling to listen to
And, but the way that it's
The way that it's working and it's gonna work, that's probably not gonna happen
You know, but that's also, the beauty of some age and some wisdom and all that was
