I was born in the Kanto region
In a place called Pallet Town
There I lived with my lovely mother
Who would lift me when
I was down
See I dreamed I would be a master
From the start, when I was small
I'd become a distinguished trainer
And one day I would catch 'em all!
Then finally the day had come
I could finally choose
My beginning Pokemon
This morning I'd best not snooze
Of course that night I couldn't sleep
Anxious 'bout the dawn
So I woke up way too late
And the Pokemon were all gone
Well except for one
Professor Oak
Had warned me this one was kinda broke
But I needed one to call my own
So I took it but I could not have known
That the Pokemon I'd chosen
Would be with me every day
And would become my closest friend
We'd be together all the way
It was Pikachu
But, well Pikachu was real stubborn
And at first was kinda mean
But in time he would come to trust me
Better friends there had never been
So we started on our big journey
On my dream since I was small
To become a distinguished trainer
We were gonna catch 'em all!
But we diddn't embark just us two
Pretty soon I had a team
I met two trainers Brock and Misty
And they both shared this crazy dream
But the road wasn't always easy
With Team Rocket on the chase
They kept scheming and plotting evil
But we sent them right into space
I also had a nemesis
Pompous Gary Oak
He always was a step ahead
And his presence just made me choke
But I kept going badge by badge
Not by winning fights
I won them helping people out
I just did what I thought was right
And then step by step
Across the land
Each Pokemon to understand
We foiled mean schemes
And saved some lives
And made sure Pokemon could thrive
And then finally the time came
With eight badges to my name
I could do battle in the Indigo League
Now I'd stake my claim!
So I went to Valencia Island
To retrieve the GS Ball
There I also met Tracy Sketchit
And you guessed it, he liked to draw
Like before there were wild adventures
With deception and intrigue
But we kept on and we got stronger
And then I won the Orange League
Then finally we came back home
All seemed good and well
Then Gary beat me fair and square
I was driven and you could tell
We left for Jhotto to prepare
For the silver league
Now this would be my ultimate chance
I was worthy I'd finally see
After many quests and countless tests
As we strived to be the very best
After endless fights
And sleepless nights
We were finally back
In the statium lights
Facing Gary in full battle
Now my Charizad came through
I defeated him
And we became like friends, I guess
Who knew?!
I did real well in the Silver League
My dreams are coming true
And that it's just a look at my life
Now the rest is up to you!
Now go off on your own adventure

There is no one around to stop you
