I'm upset, I'm stressed out, I'm mad at the system
I'm mad it's taken this long for people to listen
I'm mad at the racists. I'm mad at the bigots
I'm mad at every single person that doesn't understand the mission
Black lives matter, tell me how can you not get it
Stopped by the cops I've never felt like my life got threatened
That's white privilege, that I haven't had to feel that fear
I'm not worried if I'll get killed out here
But black people live with that on a daily basis
A revolutions coming now I can feel the changes
You can tell that people have had enough
Fist high on the front lines and nobody backin' up
Walk with courage even when I know it's hard for you to bring
When they start the shooting think of Martin Luther King
Killed for having a dream I hope today that we will see
Until there is change people can never really be free
Stop the injustice, stop the intolerance
Stop the silence stop the arguments
Start standing up for our black brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers and friends
Stop judging people based on the colour of their skin

I used to stay away from speaking out thinking it wasn't my place
Because the colour of my face
But this is everybody's problem not just black people
This a history of them not being treated as equals
And I'm sick of it
Citizens rights violated it's not civil yet
And we do not need to live with it
Ready to risk it all and go in a war
Justice for George Floyd and so many more
The tolls this has taken on the lives broken and destroyed
Taken away the hope and all the joy
All that they can say is he could've handled it better
As they leave you with your grieving family members
Friends telling me in Canada, never this only happens in the states
But in fact it happens everyday
Stop acting like this doesn't affect you
And start making a difference the silence is detrimental
