Everyone in society is much like some mixed nuts
Stuffed in a bag
We fumble around in the hope that we'll meet someone to cherish
If we just get close enough!
Hidden along with all the others there are some peanuts
Within the mix
They blend along with just a simple smile
So they can fit with everyone!
Upon this template of happiness, everything is picturesque
With truths that only we can understand!
Never can we be a simple family at the table just holding hands
No longer being our true selves
It's safer to pretend
So many secrets that I have all cobbled up
Together in a home, you know?
I won't admit defeat, no matter how many I eat!
Fighting off these feelings that get stuck in my teeth!
I'm dealing with so much anxiety lately in my life, and I know

That alone just makes my stomach churn

Trying to keep up my disguise always like a peanut within a shell
The world isn't safe, it's just all one big game

The only difference between us and everybody else
Is whether we were born underground or in trees

Starless nights and mornings lightings strikes
It's okay that life is strange, I know that I'll be alright!
Relying on improv can lead to many mistakes in a show but I know
This is just a small glimpse of our life from now on
Take it slow! just rest your mind of all these doubts!
It's best to let them go!
