One day as I wandered over the hills and through the valleys so green
I noticed a rainbow up in the sky, the loveliest sight I have seen
As I watched, a vision appeared, as real to me as the day
A beautiful horse with wings and a horn took me far away
Fly high unicorn, take me for a ride

We sailed through the air, the wind as our friend
The clouds were a veil of light
We drifted and soared to the end of the sky
Where I saw a magical sight
A castle of dewdrops glistened and shone, turquoise, silver and gold
Crystal fountains showered a spray, softly cool, not cold

The scent of the flowers filled me with joy
I laughed as I ran through the fields
Butterflies played and did a sweet dance
Their colours were spinning like wheels
Then I heard the purest of sounds, coming from everywhere
Such heavenly music I'd not heard before seemed to fill the air

I soon had to leave with my unicorn friend
And so we flew gently back home
But I'll not forget what I saw and I heard
In the rainbow land I had known
