When I open up my eyes I fight the urge to puke
And it really doesn't matter which way that you look
There's rape murder and death everywhere
The general masses just don't seem to care
So I try to hold onto what I know is right

I just need something to ease the pain away

Addictions come in many different types
Is it drugs religion or alcohol
Which crutch do you prefer to deal with the world
Now we're self-medicating just to make it through the day
But we're all fucked up so its all in vain
